COUNSELING
We measure clients' hope before services are initiated and towards the end of treatment. Children and youth averaged a 10.65% increase in hope. A higher hope score indicates our clients have higher self-esteem, will do better in school, and have healthier relationships.
100% of clients that completed our post services survey stated that they “Agree” or "Strongly Agree” that they would refer others to Rogers County Youth Services.
Clients reported the severity of their presenting problems before services were initiated at RCYS as 8.8 on a scale of 1 to 10. At the end of services, these were rated as 2.9. This is a 67.045% DECREASE in the severity of their problems after receiving services at RCYS.

“I so appreciated the care my daughter received from RCYS. Amber was fantastic, and the help she gave my daughter significantly improved how she deals with her anxiety.”
Mental health counseling offers professional support to individuals facing emotional, psychological diagnosis, and/or behavioral challenges. Our goal is to help kids and families navigate and overcome difficulties to improve overall personal, family, and community well-being. All of RCYS’ counseling services are provided by licensed (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) professionals, candidates for licensure under supervision, or practicum master level students.
