A Building For Strong Kids, Strong Families, & Strong Community
RCYS impacts 4,000 kids and their families each year. This includes 250 young people receiving weekly counseling, 500 kids receiving weekly evidenced based curriculum through prevention education classes and more.
In January 2025, we re-opened our U-Turn Academy and launched a brand new diversion program. These additions to RCYS allow us to assist students on long-term school suspension and youth in the juvenile justice system.
Why now?
The need for mental health services has grown, but our space has not. We have 3 staff for every 1 office. The lack of room limits both our services and our ability to grow. Building a space to accommodate the increasing demand for mental health services will help build stronger kids and families, thus creating a stronger community.

Vision for the future

We have been blessed to receive generous support from state and county American Rescue Plan Act funds. This has allowed us to purchase the land, design the facility, and begin site prep for the building.

Providing a quality facility and outdoor space that kids and families can be excited to be at can lower the stress of receiving treatment. The 9.3 acres our new building will set on will also offer walking trails, therapeutic spaces and class outdoor settings.
